The app and your saved game

Reel Haven is a single-player fishing game. Saved games, profiles, settings, catches, and gameplay statistics are stored locally on your device. The public app does not transmit this data to a server operated by the developer.

The app has no user accounts, advertising, tracking, external analytics services, in-app purchases, or built-in cloud sync. Playing does not require access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photo library.

You can reset individual save profiles in Settings. Local gameplay statistics and settings may remain after a profile reset. Deleting the app removes its local app data. Device backups may contain app data depending on your iOS settings; the app does not operate its own backup service.

App Store and Apple

Downloads, updates, and any device or iCloud backups you enable are provided through Apple. Apple processes data independently under its own privacy policy. The app itself does not sync saved games with iCloud.

Email support

If you contact diehltobi+reelhaven@googlemail.com, I process your email address, message, any attachments you provide, and technical metadata to respond to your request. Please send only information needed to handle your question.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is handling support and contact requests. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR additionally applies to requests concerning a contract.

Email is handled through Googlemail, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. See Google’s privacy policy for details of Google’s data processing.

This website and hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Technically necessary data is processed when you visit, including your IP address, access time, requested URL, and browser and connection information. Technical logs may be processed for security and troubleshooting.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website.

This website does not use cookies, tracking, or analytics. Fonts and styling are provided without external services. The language switch uses ordinary links and does not store a preference on your device.

Retention

Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle and follow up on your request and to comply with statutory retention duties. Technical logs are processed only as long as necessary for operation, security, and troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymised.

Saved games and gameplay statistics are not stored on servers operated by the developer.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.

You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. To exercise your rights, contact diehltobi+reelhaven@googlemail.com.

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred.

Changes

This policy will be updated if app features, service providers, or legal requirements change.
